Introducing Power Hour: Closer to the Leaders Shaping London

What if you could start your morning hearing directly from one of the people helping shape the future of our city — and have the opportunity to ask them your questions?

That’s the idea behind Power Hour, a new event series from the London Chamber of Commerce.

Designed to be focused, timely and valuable, Power Hour will connect Chamber members with prominent leaders and decision-makers from business, government, industry and our community.

Each morning session will feature a respected leader sharing their perspective on an issue, opportunity or development affecting London’s business community, followed by a Q&A.

From economic development and infrastructure to public policy, innovation, workforce, investment and the future of our city, Power Hour puts our members closer to the people and conversations shaping what comes next.

We’re starting with Chief Thai Truong

The inaugural Power Hour will feature Chief Thai Truong, Chief of the London Police Service, on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

Chief Truong will explore building a safer, stronger London and the important relationship between public safety, public confidence and a thriving local economy.

The conversation will touch on London’s changing public safety landscape, the pressures created by a growing and increasingly complex city, how the London Police Service is evolving through technology and innovation, and the importance of collaboration between police, businesses and community organizations.

Chief Truong will also share his vision for the future of policing in London — followed by an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.

Who should attend?

This conversation will be particularly relevant to business owners, executives, managers, downtown businesses, property and security professionals, community leaders and anyone interested in the safety, growth and future of London.

Come for the insight. Ask the questions. Leave better informed about the city in which you do business.
