The London Chamber of Commerce brought members, volunteers, business leaders and community partners together on September 24 for its 2026 Annual General Meeting and Volunteer Celebration, marking the close of the 2025–26 fiscal year and the beginning of a new chapter for the organization.

Hosted at the London Chamber of Commerce, the evening provided an opportunity to reflect on the past year, recognize the individuals who have contributed their time and expertise to the Chamber, welcome new Board leadership, and reconnect with the people at the heart of London’s business community.

Celebrating a Year of Leadership and Service

At the centre of the evening was a sincere appreciation for the people who have helped guide and strengthen the Chamber over the past year.

The Chamber extends its gratitude to Dipesh Parma, outgoing Chair, and the 2025–2026 Board of Directors for their leadership, commitment and service to the organization and its members.

Board service requires time, thoughtful decision-making and a commitment to representing the interests of London’s diverse business community. The Chamber is grateful to each member of the outgoing Board for the role they have played in supporting its mission and helping move the organization forward.

Welcoming Our New Board Leadership

As the Chamber looks ahead to the 2026–27 year, members also welcomed a new slate of Board leadership.

David Lyons will serve as the new Chair of the Board, with Ashley Sisco taking on the role of Vice Chair.

The Chamber was also pleased to welcome Nadia McCormack-McIntyre and Jamie Donaldson as new additions to the Board.

Their experience, perspectives and commitment to the London business community will contribute to the Chamber’s continued work to connect, support and advocate for its members.

We look forward to working alongside our new Board leadership as we continue strengthening the value of Chamber membership and creating opportunities for businesses across London.

Recognizing the People Who Make a Difference

One of the most meaningful moments of the AGM was the opportunity to recognize outstanding volunteers whose contributions have made a difference within the Chamber community.

The Chair’s Awards recognize Chamber volunteers who have demonstrated exceptional commitment through their time, expertise, leadership and willingness to serve.

Congratulations to this year’s Chair’s Award recipients: Nadia McCormack-McIntyre and Susana Martinez de Velasco Rivero.

The Chamber also presented a Service Appreciation Award to Gord Delamont of London Inc., recognizing dedicated service and continued support of the Chamber community.

These recognitions represent something fundamental to the work of the London Chamber of Commerce: our organization is strengthened by people who are willing to participate, contribute ideas, support events, serve on committees and step forward when their community needs them.

To all of our volunteers — thank you. Your contribution matters.

We were also honoured to welcome Mayor Josh Morgan, who joined the AGM to share remarks with members of London’s business community.

Bringing together business leaders, community partners and decision-makers remains an important part of the Chamber’s role. These opportunities create space for dialogue, stronger relationships and a shared understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing businesses in London.

Following the formal AGM proceedings, members had an opportunity to continue those conversations through networking and refreshments with fellow members, Chamber staff and the Board of Directors.

Most importantly, we thank our members.

The London Chamber of Commerce is a membership-driven organization, and the participation of our members makes our work possible.

Whether you attend an event, join a committee, share your expertise, introduce another business to the Chamber, participate in advocacy conversations or simply stay connected, you are contributing to a stronger business community.

As we begin another year, we remain committed to creating opportunities for members to connect, grow, be heard and build meaningful relationships across London’s business community.
