About Us

The Old East Village BIA is proud to represent the large variety of businesses and property owners that is the Old East Village Commercial Corridor. We work with small and large scale developments as well as a variety of business models ranging from sole proprietorships, corporations to worker-owned co-operatives.

The Old East Village (OEV) is an eclectic and culture infused neighbourhood unlike any other in London. The BIA works together with local businesses and property owners to successfully lower the vacancy rates and attract commercial and residential development. In 2014 the BIA determined through extensive research, the economic drivers of the area as; One of a Kind Shopping, Food and Beverage and Arts and Culture. Old East Village staff continues to develop these sectors by recruiting and supporting new and existing businesses to further stimulate the local economy. Partners in these endeavors include The City of London, the London Economic Development Corporation, London Small Business Centre, Tourism London and London Chamber of Commerce.
