About Us

Like a lot of people, I work from home, which gives me great flexibility. I am a Life and Health Advisor with
Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network. I have worked in Finance for a while, HSBC Financial, CIBC,
Sunlife Insurance, as well as Insurance and Investment Broker in Campbell River, BC.
My mum is the inspiration of why I do what I do now. She passed at age 50 with cancer. That was 20+ years ago,
I saw how my dad had to work more hours than ever to keep the house, which eventually he sold because it was
too much.
They had insurance; but they had the wrong insurance. This was before my time in the insurance world, I am
100% committed that this does not happen to any other family. My motive is simple - to help you make sense of
a maze of information. As your life and health insurance advisor, I am here for you. Every step of the way.
During my time in Strathroy, I have volunteered for many organizations including Tampon Tuesdays, The
Canadian Cancer Society Relay for life, 1st Strathroy Scouts (parent volunteer), Strathroy Rockets Jr B (8 seasons)
as well as spending time with the Campbell River Storm Jr B Hockey Team (2 seasons) when I lived there as well
as Grass Roots, Kind Hearts, which helps feed the homeless in whatever location was available. As an active
member in the Strathroy Community, you may have guessed that Community is important to me. I am invested
in where I live.
