New awards to acknowledge employers who hire persons with disabilities

The Ability First Coalition Champions Awards is a new awards program to honour employers who hire and retain persons with disabilities. Ability First is a group of business people who are a resource for employers wishing to hire persons with disabilities.

Awards will be given in three categories at a Gala Awards and Fund raising event on November 16, 2010. For more information and a nomination form visit www.abilityfirst.on.ca. Nominate a deserving business today!

A New Name for Elgin Middlesex Local Training Board

We are pleased to annouce our name change from the Elgin Middlesex Oxford Local Training Board to the Elgin Middlexes Oxford Workforce Planning and Development Board.

Our new name describes our role in the community.
