Canada-China Business Council Hosted by LEDC

Canadian firms are including China in their plans, realizing that growth cannot depend on trade with the US alone. But many find it hard to take early steps, overwhelmed by the challenges. The LEDC is facilitating a workshop for London businesses to learn how to do business in China March 5th, 8am at the London Chamber of Commerce.

Western to host Special Olympic athletes

Western is putting its stamp on the 2010 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games held in London July 11-17 as host of several events and home of the Athletes' Village. Opening and closing ceremonies will be held in TD Waterhouse Stadium, and the Western Student Recreation Centre and the Huron Flats fields will be used for events.
