Changing of the Guard

In the final meeting on June 28th - before breaking for the summer, the Board of Directors for the London Chamber of Commerce expressed its appreciation for those Board members who are leaving as well as welcomed several new Board members.
In particular, there was the ceremonial gavel passing from out-going President, Joaquim Balles over to the 2012-2013 President, Gus Kotsiomitis.
Gus gave the following toast to honour Joaquim for the outstanding job that he did as president this past Year:

Who challenged us and took us International & Global
Who is a Strong Policy Advocate
Who demonstrated total dedication and commitment
You are an extremely hard working and passionate and most of all a first class and wonderful individual.
You've inspired all of us to do more and challenge the status quo.
Joaquim - Congratulations on a wonderful year that we're all so grateful and you should be so proud!!! Thank you my friend and I know you'll be there when I need advice and guidance.
