Business After Five Program
Business After Five (BAF) is a monthly Chamber event that provides an opportunity for Chamber Members to network with a wide variety of business people in an informal atmosphere.
These events have become one of the Chamber's most popular networking events, allowing members to meet, exchange ideas, talk business in a relaxed and informal setting and make important long-lasting bonds, while giving the host business an opportunity to show off their workplace and gain invaluable exposure.
Interested in hosting a Business After Five program? Though attendance is open to both Chamber members, guests and non-members, those wanting to host a Business After Five program must be Chamber members in good standing.
Please call (519) 432-7551 ext. 34 to find out more about what is involved. Click here to see our monthly Business After Five event schedule.
Business to Business Groups
Business Before Business Groups offer Chamber members a chance to build a "team" of advocates for their business by providing a long-term networking opportunity. Your membership in a Business Before Business Group gives you a chance to build your personal network of business relationships through your active participation.
This is about making new business contacts, identifying potential new customers, locating new or alternate supply sources, and an opportunity to meet fellow members in an informal, relaxed setting.
Each group consists of a representative from 20-30 non-competing businesses, making each of your fellow group members a potential business partner rather than a competitor. Each group elects a chairperson, and may also identify group members to organize meeting agendas, and outside networking or social activities. A typical meeting will include brief presentations from group members on their business, or on referrals or business dealings with other members of the group.
The Chamber currently has 2 groups meeting on a bi-weekly basis:
- Business between Business Group A meets every other Monday at 12:00 p.m. Lunch is served. A small fee is charged to your Chamber account.
- Business before Business Group B meets every other Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. Breakfast is served. A small fee is charged to cover the cost of breakfast.
Each group currently has openings available in specific business classifications. Please call (519) 432-7551 ext. 34 for more information.

Speed Networking Event Series
At ordinary networking events the focus is on building relationships and getting to know each other in a relaxed and informal setting. At the London Chamber's Speed Networking event, it is guaranteed that you will meet and talk to at least 30 new contacts within one and a half hours.

It's fast, it's energetic, and amazingly effective!
The idea is that within a few minutes of talking to someone you will be able to work out whether it is possible to do business with them. This makes it a very efficient form of business networking.
Two facing circles are formed, an inner and an outer one, and when a bell rings, the inner circle moves around the outer circle. You have a limited time to talk to your opposite about you, exchange your business card, and discuss your business. A bell rings again and they reciprocate and talk about themselves and their business. A bell rings to signal that it is time to move on and repeat the process with the next person. It's as simple as that.
This event is held four times a year and is open to members ONLY. Sign up for the next one! Click here.
