Meeting Dates and Times
Meets the first Friday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
Committee Objectives
- To provide Chamber members with an avenue for networking on an ongoing basis while developing and implementing new events, programs and services that encourage participation throughout the year.
- To act as Member Advisors to better develop and retain membership: to offer opportunities and skill development if required as it pertains to networking and personal development.
- Continue to look for ways to build the momentum of Membership Services and its programs, to meet the ever changing needs and expectations of the members.
2007/2008 Program Plan
- Deck the Hall: This member and non-member holiday celebration networking event is held the first Tuesday in December.
- Member Advisor Program: A mentoring program that seeks to build relationships between new and experienced members. Includes the development of a ‘Networking 101' document.
- New Member Welcome Event Program: A bi-monthly event that welcomes new members to Committee Chairpersons, Board members, staff and the Chamber Meeting Centre.
- Business After Five / Mega Bus After Five Events: This networking program will continue to run monthly from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month. It will continue to be held at various host locations.
- Speed Networking: Held four times each year, each time during a month there is a New Member Welcome event
