Meetings take place on the first Thursday of the month at 8am.
Committee Objectives
- Increase and broaden the Chamber's audience through new media. (Such as Facebook, twitter, widgets, blogs, podcasts, etc.)
- Continue to actively position the Chamber as valuable, innovative and inclusive to London business
- Review and Redefine value and goals of communications initiatives (web, print, email).
2010/2011 Program Plan
- Liaise with the Chamber's Membership Sales and Services Committee* to lend marketing and communications advice where needed. The Committee will focus specifically in the following areas:
- Market Segmentation
- Value Propositions
- Review of Communication points of contact with potential members, current members and lapsed members
- Complete and present communications audit (best-practices evaluation of other Chamber of Commerce sites, web 2.0 initiatives, cost and revenue analysis of web initiatives and opportunities).
- Using the feedback from the 2010 media workshop, and collaborating with the Networking and Special Events Committee* develop media workshop/seminar.
- Evaluate the need and cost effectiveness of a 2010-2011 member survey. Specifically, the Committee will focus on how the Chamber can best engage and add value to our current membership.
- Invite guest speakers to address the committee on marketing and professional development
