Meeting Dates and Times

Last Wednesday of the month at 8am at the Chamber Meeting Centre.

Provide information/education to the Hispanic Business community that helps to ensure their long-term sustainability and contribution to our economy.
Provide assistance by determining how best to integrate and utilize their skills and experience beyond their own Hispanic roots and into the wider business community.
Introduce networking opportunities for the Hispanic Business Opportunities Committee (HBO) members and guests with other Chamber members and groups.
Invite outside business people, groups and government organizations to learn more about London's Hispanic business community - what it has to offer - and how it can bridge the gap to a broader array of world markets and business opportunities through various international trade agreements.

Utilizing the results of the "First Hispanic Business Issues Survey", design and organize two key seminars/workshops that focus on the needs of the Hispanic business community.
In conjunction with The Chamber's BAA Committee, assist in the development of # "New Comer Business Award" by dedicating one volunteer from HBO to liaise with the BAA committee.
Plan, organize and host a seminar /workshop on "How to do business in London".
Plan, organize and host a seminar/workshop on "How to do business in Canada".
Participate in all Business After Five events including two Mega BAF events.
Plan, organize and develop the Hispanic Small Business Project, integrating different organizations i.e. Fanshawe College, the Federal and Provincial Governments including Immigration/Citizenship Canada, and the City of London.
Sr. Chamber administration to analyze the Free Trade Agreements, signed between Canada and Latin-American countries, to better understand new business opportunities.
Develop the first guide online for business in Spanish.
